Sydney musician Chavvy has unveiled his beguiling new single, Rose Garden. The musical project of Ally McMahon, the release serves as the first taste of the musicians forthcoming album, Spaces.

Built upon textural layers and dynamic production, the atmospheric release showcases McMahon ability to transport his listener to another realm. On the dynamic cut, McMahon sonically tracks his experiences on late-night walks throughout Sydney's inner west, creating a dynamic soundscape that ebbs and flows with a pulsating beat that lures the listener in. The musician enlisted National Jazz Awards winner Matthew Thomson on the track, providing striking piano melodies that contrast McMahon's droning production to create mesmerising clash of textures and sounds.

Influenced by the likes of Flying Lotus, Mndsgn and Nosaj Thing, McMahon fuses together a lofi approach to creating, with notes of jazz and garage rock to create his own unique genre-defying sound. Outside of Chavvy, the skilled musician has showcased his talents on the bass guitar, supporting artists including Cody Currie, LADYKING, Mila Nile and Chelsea Warner.
