CELEBRATING 10 YEARS OF 'FALLING & FLYING' WITH 360

Watch our interview with 360 below!

Ten years ago, Australian rapper 360 changed the trajectory of Australian hip-hop with his sophomore album, Falling & Flying. The 2× Platinum ARIA certified record gave the world seven hit singles, including the 4× Platinum Boys Like You featuring Gossling, Killer and Throw It Away.

To mark the momentous anniversary, 360 has treated fans with a 10th Anniversary Edition of the album, made complete with remastered recordings, additional bonus tracks, remastered instrumentals and two previously unheard demos from the sessions working on the record. Speaking with MILKY, the musician shared his thoughts on the album a decade on, the impact Falling & Flying has had on the Australian hip-hop scene, the return of Rappertag and so much more!

Falling & Flying paved the way for future hip-hop artists, defying genre and fusing together sonic threads of pop, indie and electro. Spawning radio-hit singles, the record brought hip-hop and rap back to mainstream audiences and cemented 360's status as a trailblazer in the local scene. Soon after the albums release, the rapper picked up an ARIA Award, embarked on sold out tours and supported Eminem alongside Kendrick Lamar on his Australian tour. The album also offered up a more personal side to the musician, providing moments of vulnerability with confessional lyricism.

Ten years on and the rapper shows no signs of slowing down, having shared a string of singles over the last six months, including Stand Alone and My Crown. 360 also relaunched his legendary Rappertag series for a second season. Offering up a platform for local talent to showcase their musical flow, Nerve, JK-47, Nate G, Wombat, Complete, Bitter Belief, Manaz Ill, Skrub and Dunn D have all stepped up to take part in the series, with the rapper sharing with MILKY he has bigger plans for Rappertag.

Falling & Flying is out now, and available on limited edition vinyl here. Watch our interview with 360 above!
