ARIA award-winning Coodjinburra artist Budjerah has treated us with his new single, Video Games. The release arrives alongside the news of the singers United Talent Agency.
Co-penned Meg Mac,Matt Corby and Chris Collins, Budjerah started teasing the track at his live shows earlier this year, which included supporting international superstar Ed Sheeran on his record breaking Australian stadium tour. Opening with dreamy guitar melodies and Budjerah's mesmerising vocals, the songs intimate nature finds him reflecting on a relationship and the grasp of toxicity.
"I’ve been waiting a very long time for this song to be ready, and finally after performing it for a year on stage, I think you guys are ready to hear one of my most personal songs yet. This is a thank you to all my fans who’ve supported me at my shows over the last year. Hope you guys are ready for Video Game!"
Budjerah will be hitting the road later this year, appearing at festivals across the country. His first stop is Toowoomba Carnival Of Flowers Festival Of Food & Wine in Queensland on September 8, before taking to the stage at Spilt Milk in Canberra, the Gold Coast, Ballarat and Perth this November-December. Tickets are on sale now!
Video Game is out now!
