Watch our interview with Ash Lune below!
Only months since the release of her debut EP Broken Science Experiments, Ash Lune has unveiled her sophomore effort, The Mind Palace.
Tapping Sam de Jong (Pale Waves, Robinson, Rudimental), Tom Eggert (Cub Sport, Vancouver Sleep Clinic), Robby De Sa (MAY-A, The Veronicas) and Joseph de la Hoyde on production duties, Lune continues her exploration of alt-pop-based sonics, crafting hazy soundscapes that create an ethereal and mesmerising listening experience. She also offers up new shades of her artistry, leaning into more pop inspired influences, established with bopping melodies and polished melodies.
“My favourite part of this EP is how each song is so different. You can hear me get more comfortable and experiment with sounds in this EP. It’s called The Mind Palace because it reflects the different sounds and sides of Ash Lune. It definitely shows off my personality as a walking contradiction haha. It’s like peeking into different rooms in a long alleyway.” Lune shares. “This EP is also very important because my next body of work is an extension of one of these sounds in The Mind Palace. You can take a guess as to which one it is.“
