Multi-platinum singer, songwriter and former One Direction member, ZAYN has teamed up with eyewear brand ARNETTE to produce an epic, retro-inspired collection of eyewear. The first capsule in their collaboration is set to arrive in Sunglass Hut and OPSM stores from October 11.
On the collaboration, ZAYN shares: “I’m very interested in design and the creative elements of a campaign, so it was quite cool to work with a brand like ARNETTE. The team has been really open and receptive to my ideas and have been a great partner.”
Bringing four new styles to the table, the easy-to-wear collection is made up of of sustainable pieces, made with biobased materials. Inspired by 80s graphics, with bold square profiles and wide wing shapes, each frame is named after retro cars, with exclusive new bleached tie-dye colours, vibrant see-through and flash mirror shades. The frames capture the singers signature style, and are made complete with graphic Z lens logos,
“The whole retro vibe of the campaign is sick,” he continues. “One of my favourites is the Drophead, which pushes an iconic shape to the next level with updated design.”
