UK singer-songwriter Will Joseph Cook has announced his third studio album Every Single Thing, alongside a new track from the record with Little Miss.
The joyful release is all about the winders of being in love, and holding out for each other even when parted by distance. Cook's magnetic vocals simmer above nostalgic sonics, and bring to life superb storytelling lyricism. The release is accompanied by an official visual, directed by Bertie Gilbert, bringing all our favourite 80’s rom-com vibes.
Speaking of the track, “I was with my friend and I had just got a Nintendo Switch, and I was rediscovering a lot of Wii/GameCube beats. I had been doing this thing on social media where I would take classic Nintendo soundtracks and writing melodies and lyrics to them, and I wanted to do something with the same cute, jazz pop sound from those games. I had been away from my girlfriend for a good chunk of time, there was beautiful sunny weather outside - so I just walked around my garden and house, pulling words from what I felt around me.
Last year, the musician released his sophomore album, Something to Feel Good About, via his own label, The Vertex. The record spwaned the hit single, Be Around Me, which earned Cook a legion of new fans following viral success on TikTok. Throughout his career, he has taken to the stage at festivals including Glastonbury, Reading & Leeds, and Corona Capital in Mexico and has amassed over 120 million streams worldwide across all platforms
