WHAT SO NOT AND RUN THE JEWELS TEAM UP FOR NEW REMIX OF ‘JU$T’

Australian electronic artist, producer and DJ What So Not is kicking off 2021 teaming up with hip-hop legends Run The Jewels, remixing their hit single JU$T. The track features Pharrell Williams and Zack De La Rocha, with the original gaining over over 20 millions streams.


Speaking of the new mix, What So Not shares: "For me, as a producer, Run The Jewels are one of the most exciting groups out there. Starting as a bootleg, I was honoured to get the nod to put this record out, not only with RTJ, but also my childhood heroes Zack and Pharrell”

JU$T features on the duos critically acclaimed fourth record, RTJ4. Serving as a tribute to the foundations of hip-hop, the record verges on a revolution, calling for change within the current global climate, speaking to the roller coaster year that has been 2020. RTJ4 comments on real-world politics, significantly mentioning the Black Lives Matter movement.

Having collaborated with the likes of Skrillex, SLUMBERJACK, and San Holo, What So Not has has gained 100 million streams in the past year alone and has played shows and festivals spanning 45 countries and 4 continents. Over the past few months he has played Castaway (Perth), Factory Summer Festival (Brisbane) and is on the line up for Yours and Owls, This That and Wildlands festivals in 2021.
