WE'RE TEENAGE DADS BIGGEST CHEERLEADERS AFTER HEARING THEIR NEW SINGLE!

The four-piece are heading on tour this September + November!

Melbourne four-piece Teenage Dads have dropped their glistening new single, Cheerleader. The release arrives alongside a mesmerising visual, which sees the band running in circles anticlockwise at Fort Nepean - an 18th century fort in Portsea on the Mornington Peninsula.

Cheerleader is about indecisiveness leading to missed opportunities and regret. I wrote this last year feeling like I had spent much of my time not working hard enough to put myself out there and constantly feeling as though nothing was getting done. I was in a rut, felt like my life was moving on without me and all that remained were precious memories to keep me motivated for whatever came next,” frontman Jordan Finlay says of the track.

Teenage Dads are set to hit the road this September, with a run of shows across the east coast. Kicking off in Adelaide on September 4, the tour will continue on to Melbourne, Newcastle, Maroochydore and Brisbane, before wrapping up on the Gold Coast on November 7. Along for the ride is Aeroplane Mode and Cheap Date.

Forming in high school, the band honed in on their craft and developed the band into a completely DIY project. Band members Angus Christie, Vincent Kinna, Connor McLaughlin and Finlay have complete control over their creative outlet. The four-piece produce, mix and record all the tracks, with all their artworks and videos being produces by the band members themselves. Teenage Dads are no strangers to putting on a show. Having toured with the likes of Lime Cordiale, Psychedelic Porn Crumpets, Northeast Party House and Ruby Fields, the band have become known for their energetic and immersive live performances.
