Sydney four- piece WAWAWOW have announced they're taking their album Pink Elephant on the road, performing across the east coast this July. After being forced to cancel their 2020 tour due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the upcoming run of shows is a welcomed return to the stage for the four-piece.
Kicking off in Melbourne on July 2, the run of shows will continue on to Newcastle, Canberra and Sydney, before wrapping up in Wollongong on July 25th with a show at North Wollongong Hotel for Yours & Owls.
Speaking of the tour, guitarist Shaun Allen shares: “We’re fully suited out in uniforms for this tour, we’ve got flashing lights on each of our heads, we coil lights around each of our instruments and control them from the stage. Occasionally we dabble in lasers, projections and glowing drumsticks. If you can’t make it to White Night or Vivid Sydney, just come to our show for your luminary fix!”
