UPSAHL DROPS VOLUME TWO OF HER 'PHX TAPES' PROJECT

Watch our interview with UPSAHL below!

American singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist UPSAHL has treated us with volume two of the PHX Tapes. Having unveiled the first instalment in April, the singer has shared two new tracks as part of the project.

Continuing her signature genre-blurring sound, the coupling of WET WHITE TEE SHIRT and SICK PRETTY MIND proves UPSAHL is at the top of her game. Co-written with Justin Tranter (Lady Gaga, Dua Lipa, Måneskin) and produced by Max Martin collaborators Rami Yacoub and Sly, WET WHITE TEE SHIRT simmers with bubbling production beneath the singers entrancing vocals and booming bass. Meanwhile, SICK PRETTY MIND channels the likes with it's alt-pop sensibilities and beguiling vocal harmonies.

"Beyond stoked that these songs are finally out in the world. The whole point of The PHX Tapes is that I wanted each of these songs to feel like they live in their own world, free of any rules, boxes, genres, etc... And thanks to the brilliance of the co-writers and producers on both of these songs, I got to do exactly that. I present to you, the songs of the motherfucking summer: WET WHITE TEE SHIRT (SIDE A) & SICK PRETTY MIND (SIDE B)." UPSAHL shares.
