TYNE-JAMES ORGAN DROPS MUSIC VIDEO FOR ‘HOLD ME BACK’

Image: Kane Hibberd

Australian singer-songwriter Tyne-James Organ has today released the powerful visual for his latest single, Hold Me Back. The track was inspired by the singers own experiences, witnessing acts of sexual assault whilst on a night out.

Using his platform to draw attention to the trauma of domestic abuse, the video depicts a young man in the aftermath of attacking his partner. The violent and distressing behaviour is portrayed through the use of dazed flashbacks. Directed by Rome, the video concludes with statistics about domestic abuse, accompanied by a list of outlets and resources worldwide for those experiencing domestic violence who are seeking help.

Known for wearing his heart on his sleeve, the talented musician crafts his songs from personal experiences. Releasing his debut EP Perseverance in 2019, exhibited raw honesty whilst thematically exploring love, loss, grief and resilience. Continuing to prove his impeccable musicianship and vocal ability, the singer is set to release his debut album in the near future.

Hold Me Back is out now! Watch the official music video below.
