Sydney four-piece Triple One are back! The trailblazers have returned with their simmering new single, BLOOD RAVE, marking the first taste of new music since their 2020 debut album, Panic Force.
Co-produced with Melbourne’s Lucianblomkamp (6lack, Mallrat), the track continues the groups genre-bending sonic blend of alt hip-hop and ushers in a new era of Triple One. Bringing spitfire verses and dynamic production. BLOOD RAVE navigates the paradox of over indulgence that stalls your personal responsibilities.
“The song touches on pleasure and the consequences of chasing pleasure,” vocalist Marty Bugatti says. “Indulging in temptation, lust and the areas in between. It’s about being in a constant cycle of chasing expedient joy and putting off responsibilities to be dealt with later. And then, when it’s time to deal with the consequences, it’s often too late.”
Alongside the release arrives a futuristic 3D visual, created by Western Sydney visual artist Serwah Attafuah (Charli XCX, Nike). Capturing the simmering energy of the track, the surreal clip Attafuah shares: “My aim was to create a surreal and sexy feminine universe in which the Triple One characters are lost in.” She further explains, “Visually, I didn’t want it to be just a loose conceptual piece, so making it as literal as possible was pretty important to me. It’s always a pleasure to collaborate with Triple One, they definitely put a tonne of thought into all their visual elements and always come through with the hardest concepts.”
Following on from the release of Panic Force, the four-piece embarked on a national tour, performing to sold-out crowds, and performing one of the stand out sets at Splendour XR.
