TINY LITTLE HOUSES DROP NEW TUNE 'CAR CRASH'

Melbourne’s Tiny Little Houses are back with their new tune, Car Crash. The release arrives alongside an official visual, directed by Michael Ridley.

Bringing their signature raucous and jangly energy to the track, Car Crash sees the four-piece once again team up with producer Steve Schram (Paul Kelly, San Cisco) to deliver another profound rock banger. Speaking of the conceptual nature of the song, frontman Caleb Karvountzis shares: "I wrote Car Crash at a time when I had so many decisions to make in my life that I was completely frozen. The lyrics reflect wanting a release from that tension, whether the means of that release was good for me or not."

The songs visual brings that colourful and wry aesthetic we love from Tiny Little Houses, with the four-piece stuck in a realm controlled by a twisted television host “When we were first coming up with the concept for the clip, we all had similar ideas of wanting to bring the image of the band in a crashing car to life, but I always like to see if things can be taken that extra step further into absurdity.” Ridley shares.

Having taken a two-and-a-half-year hiatus, the four-piece returned last year with Richard Cory, which followed up their acclaimed debut album, Idiot Proverbs.
