Malaysian Swiss electro-pop artist Timur has dropped her new single, NOT A CRIMINAL. The track serves as the latest taste of the singers forthcoming six-track EP.
Produced and mixed by Gustav Efraimsson (Monsta X/NKOTBSB), the confident cut presents the singers unapologetic demeanour as she toils within the choice between good and evil. Timur's self-assured performance stomps above K-pop influenced production, bringing ear-worm melodies to life as she battles with her innermost thoughts.
"It's about how sometimes your feelings can make you want to act irrationally and do things that you know are not right and just holding out for a beacon of light to save you from yourself." the singer shares.
The release arrives alongside an official visual, directed by Datuk Yusry Abdul Halim, and serves as the first instalment in a four-part visual arc. We meet a team of criminals undertaking a bank robbery, spliced with scenes of the singer and her dance troupe within cityscapes.
