After the festivals 2020 edition being cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic, THIS THAT will be back in 2021 with a massive line up! Not only will the festival be returning to Newcastle for its sixth instalment, the festival will also be travelling to Queensland for the first time ever.
Taking place next February, the complete homegrown Aussie talent lineup topped with the nations’ favourite dance-floor fillers. Crossing electronic, hip hop, pop and rock, THIS THAT is going back-to-back in 2021 with plans to hold the festival in both February and October/November next year to make up for 2020’s cancellation. Featuring on next years lineup is acts like Hayden James, Crooked Colours, Dune Rats, The Chats, Client Liaison, Mallrat, Jack River, San Cisco and so many more!
There’ll also be exclusive performances in each state with The Rubens and Haiku Hands appearing exclusively in Queensland, while WHAT SO NOT, Confidence Man, ChillinIT and The Chats will be taking to the stage in Newcastle.
With extensive forward planning already in place, last week the festival released a COVID 19 ticketing plan, including information on how ticketholders will be affected in the event of capacity restrictions or postponement. A pre-sale for the events will take place tomorrow at 9am AEST, with general rickets on sale this Thursday at 9am AEST.
