THERE'S A TUESDAY RETURN WITH 'FAMILIAR'

Watch our interview with There's A Tuesday below!

New Zealand alt-pop band, There's A Tuesday are back! The four-piece have delivered their brand new single, Familiar.

Continuing their distinct fusion of indie-folk and rock within a glistening alt-pop soundscape, the track is all about that first moment you lay eyes on someone and feel like you've known them far longer. A warm and vibrant soundscape unfurls beneath front women Nat Hutton and Minnie Robberds' captivating vocals, with introspective lyricism that is sometimes reminiscent of Matty Healy's work within The 1975.

Familiar is about love and being human’ the band explain, ‘we hope it’ll make people dance!’ Shimmering and bright with a sense of warmth and nostalgia throughout the track, ‘Familiar’ plays on the notion of meeting someone for the first time but feeling as if you’ve known them your whole life - ‘you feel familiar I’m getting to know you again’."

Made up of Hutton, Robberds, drummer Angus Murray and bassist Joel Becker, the band have delivered two EP's, 2020's Dance With Me Before We Cry and 2022's Boy Scout. Last year, they made their debut trip to Australia supporting New Zealand’s platinum sensation, and Olive Records co-founder, BENEE and fellow label mate Muroki at their respective Sydney shows.

Familiar is out now!
