The Veronicas, The Wiggles and more are returning to the stage this winter! Drive-In Entertainment have announced a slew of drive-in concerts at Raging Waters Sydney, kicking off on July 17, with up to 1000 allocated cars spaces.

The Drive-In Entertainment Hub is a non-contact, drive-in-only entertainment venue, bringing live entertainment to patrons from the comfort of their vehicles. The hub has been developed as a COVID-19 safe environment, for both artists and the audience.

"Festivals create a unity of energy that is unlike any other feeling. We are thinking outside the box to make sure we can all still give an experience of live music to our fans during these times," Lisa Origliasso of The Veronicas said in a statement. "A drive-in concert sounded like our perfect night. Get your friends together, great snacks, blankets, comfy seats and great weather is a guarantee; ha-ha," Jess Origliasso added. "This is the first time we're ever done anything like this. Who knows what will happen. We're expecting a symphony of car horns during ‘Untouched’."

The pop duo will headline their own drive-in show, with other Aussie music royalty gracing the lineup: The Wiggles and Kate Ceberano will headline their own respective shows on two dates with Casey Donovan and Jess & Matt rounding out the musical performances, performing one show each.

But the fun doesn’t stop there! Comedians Akmal Saleh and Lawrence Mooney will perform two dates together with Arj Barker and Jimeoin sharing the stage for two nights towards the end of the drive-ins run. The drive-in will go back in time to the 90’s on July 17 with DJ Dan Murphy hosting NEON: The 90’s Party, before two dates of Broadway Reimagined.

Nickelodeon are presenting two shows on multiple dates throughout July. The first in their ‘Hour of Power’ special will feature beloved character Spongebob Squarepants and also Shimmer & Shine. The second show will see the drive-in being taken over by the Paw Patrol and Dora The Explorer.

Tickets are available now for all scheduled events, available through Moshtix. More information can be found on Drive-In Entertainment’s official website.
