Watch our interview with The Vanns!

South Coast four-piece The Vanns have delivered their new single Making It Out Alive.

Teaming up once again with producer Chris Collins (Skeggs, Middle Kids Tyne-James Organ), the downtempo cut is built upon lulling guitar melodies, gentle piano work and relaxed percussion, whilst frontman Jimmy Vann's soulful and impassioned vocal unfurl above. The release arrives alongside an official visual, bringing together footage from the bands recent tour alongside a studio performance.

“Making It Out Alive is one of a bunch of songs we recorded with Chris earlier this year. The song wasn’t finished being fully written until the night before we tracked it, which is always a fun timeframe to record in. It also features some great saxophone work by Dusty Boots, who’s so talented and an absolute legend.” the band share.

The four-piece kicked off their extensive national tour in July, having already visited Wagga Wagga, Bathurst, Cairns, Townsville, Mackay, Albury, Ulladulla, the Gold Coast, the Sunshine Coast, Coffs Harbour, Yamba, Belgrave, Frankston and Geelong. The tour will continue this month, with the band set to take to the stage in Bunbury, Albany and Margaret River. Supported by The Moving Stills, tickets are on sale now!
