THE TERRYS DROP NEW TUNE 'COST THE PEACE'

Hot off the heels of wrapping up their sold-out debut east coast tour, Gerringong five-piece The Terrys are back with a brand new tune. Cost The Peace is the latest in a string of single releases from the band since their formation mid-last year.

Produced by Jack Nigro (DMA'S, Pacific Avenue), the track is all about the morning after a big night out, realising maybe it's time to hang up the bender boots. Cost The Peace stays true to the bands signature hooky vocals, with their conversational and relatable lyrics at the forefront.

Speaking of the conceptual nature track, the band share: “It’s about the aftermath of a huge bender. When you feel like your brain is melting and it’s costing you your peace... and you think, I shouldn’t be doing this sh*t.”

With more music teased for 2021, the five-piece will be joining Dune Rats, Hockey Dad, Skegss and Ruby Fields at the Save Crowbar fundraiser show and were recently announced as one of five winners in the triple j Unearthed x NIDA competition.

Cost The Peace is out now! Listen to the track below and watch our interview with The Terrys above.
