Opening with lulling piano melodies, the songs demure sonic palette unfurls beneath layered vocals whilst building towards an electric-fuelled ending with the introduction of a chilling bass line, textural synths and feverent drum work. The songs ambient soundscape echo its thematic exploration, as the musician explores toxicity within relationship and the juxtaposition between love and misery.
"Head Over Heels is to be a raw staple piece, established early in my discography. The song is a hypnotic melancholic anthem blending alternative and electronic sounds to exhibit a cold toxic soundscape where misery (personified) loves company and attracts new romantic partners to inhabit and indulge in my own insecurities & heartache." the musician shares.
