TEENAGE JOANS SHARE VISUAL FOR ‘THREE LEAF CLOVER’

Winners of triple j’s unearthed high 2020, Teenage Joans have shared the visual of their winning song, Three Leaf Clover. The neon-lit visual sees the duo performing the track in a number of settings, centred around skating with the pair hitting a variety of skate rinks, including donning a pair of ice skates to take to the ice. The track infuses indie sounds with a pop-punk soundscape, bringing real and unapologetic lyricism.

Band member Cahli said of the visual, “As this was our first proper music video, we wanted to paint the perfect picture of exactly who we are in. We wanted to show our personalities, passions, hobbies and our fun creative side that exists outside of our music and live shows. We featured some of our favourite activities like crafts, ice skating and skating as well as featuring an all-female/ gender-diverse skate crew to showcase who we are and our values.”

Since bursting onto the scene last year, the band have gone on to share the stage with the likes of Ruby Fields, The Hard Aches, Clowns, Towns and Bec Stevens, and secured a spot at Laneway Festival 2019 as part of the Girls Rock! Showcase. The dup performed a sold-out debut headline show before winning the "South Australian Best Live Act" in the 2019 National Live Music Awards.
