It's been a long time coming, Australia! Global superstar Taylor Swift has finally announced that her acclaimed and record breaking The Eras Tour will be gracing our shores next year.

Having quite literally broke the internet with sales for the North American run, Swift has revealed that she'll be visiting Japan, Australia, Singapore and Europe next year. The news comes weeks after the singer announced her first ever South American tour.

Kicking off with two shows at Melbourne's MCG on February 16 and 17, Swift will then bring her career-spanning spectacle to Sydney for three performances at Accor Stadium on February 23, 24 and 25. Ticket prices range from $79.90 t0 $379.90 AUD for standard tickets, with VIP packages ranging from $349.90 to $1249.90 AUD. The singer last visited Australia on her reputation stadium tour in 2018, and has revealed American singer Sabrina Carpenter will be joining her when she brings The Eras Tour to Australia.

Frontier member pre-sale tickets and VIP packages will be available on Wednesday 28 June, with the general on-sale taking place on Friday 30 June. It’s Been a Long Time Coming + Karma is My Boyfriend VIP Packages for Sydney and Melbourne will be available in the American Express VIP Package pre-sale, starting on Monday 26 June.

Last year, Swift unveiled her tenth studio album, Midnights, which has gone on to become her tenth album to debut at #1 on the ARIA Charts. The albums lead single Anti-Hero hit #1 on the ARIA Single chart and become her first song to ever debut at #1 on the Australian Airplay Chart.

These three accolades placed Swift as the first artist to ever hold the #1 ARIA Album, #1 ARIA Song and #1 song on the Australian Airplay Chart simultaneously. The album has become the most streamed album in a week in ARIA history and sold 10,000 vinyl units, whilst in the U.S Midnights earned more than 1.4 million equivalent album units through its first five days of release. Next month, the singer will release Speak Now (Taylor's Version), the latest re-recorded album from her catalogue.
