Emerging pop artist Tate McRae has unveiled her anthermic new single, She's All I Wanna Be. Co-written with Grammy Award winning songwriter and producer Greg Kurstin, the track marks the second taste of the singers hotly-anticipated debut album, due out this year.
Weaving subtle notes of rock within a pop-tastic soundscape, the track navigates self-comparison to another woman, prompted by observing your partner eyeing up another woman. McRae's distinct vocals stomp atop alt-punk guitars and driving percussion, whilst gleaming synths simmer below. The singer will share an official visual for the song next week.
The release arrives just in time for the singers forthcoming North American Tour which is set to kick off next month, with a guest appearance from from Mimi Web. McRae will then join Shawn Mendes on his Wonder: The World Tour across the UK and Europe. The singer has just been nominated for three iHeart Radio Awards including Best New Pop Artist, Dance Song of the Year and Best Cover Song. Having released two EP's, ALL THE THINGS I NEVER SAID and TOO YOUNG TO BE SAD, McRae is gearing up to release her debut album later this year.
