Gumbaynggirr rapper Tasman Keith has announced his hotly-anticipated debut album, A Colour Undone, set to arrive this July. Alongside the announcement comes the musicians latest offering from the body of work, LOVE TOO SOON.

Continuing to offer up dynamic cuts, LOVE TOO SOON takes on an alt-R&B sonic realm, with threads of pop woven throughout and heralded by synth-based production. Keith meanders between textural vocals and laid back flows. as he explores the idea of meeting the right person at the wrong time. The release also offers up a hint of what is to come from the rappers full-length, and continues to prove Keith's status as a formidable force within the industry.

"LOVE TOO SOON introduces the other character that is portrayed throughout the album," the rapper shares. "This persona represents a side of me that could be searching for love or reminiscing on lust with an overall deep desire for connection. Throughout the album, it’s shown that this character has always felt like he must present himself in ways that complement his vulnerability and willingness to be so open, even when it leaves him at risk of being hurt."

The release arrives alongside an official visual, directed and choreographed by Claudia Sangiorgi Dallimore (Thelma Plum, Mo'Ju). The one-shot clip shows the musician following the woman who has caught his eye, with Dallimore sharing "Tas and I working together has been on the cards for many years now. I think he was just waiting for the perfect moment to bring me in, and I’m glad he did. In the days leading up to the shoot, all I kept saying to him was I need you to dance and smile like your life depended on it. I’m proud of Tas for letting himself be open to a softer side, to show people his love of dance, his smile, his romantic spirit. It’s so heartwarming for me to watch his and Hëna’s performance chemistry come alive on screen."

To celebrate his new music, Keith is hitting the road on his COLOUR LIVE Tour this March, with newly announced performances across the east coast. Kicking off Naarm / Melbourne on March 12, the run of shows will continue on to Eora / Sydney, Meanjin / Brisbane, Ngunnawal Land / Canberra, Dharawal Land / Wollongong, Mulubinba / Newcastle, Ngarang-wal Land / Gold Coast and Gubbi Gubbi Land / Maroochydoore, before wrapping up in Yugarabul Land / North Lakes on April 30.
