Brisbane-based singer, songwriter and producer SYCCO is bringing pure pop goodness on her new track, My Way! The dreamy track is accompanied by a vibrant visual, produced and directed by Summer King and Madeline Randall.
Written over a zoom session with co-writer and producer Jeff Hazin (Anna Sofia, Ren), the song serves as an insight into the singers mind, talking about those moments where your brain decides to go on a holiday, leaving you all over the place. Set atop a bright and glitchy soundscape, the singers vocals sooth you as a funky and commanding baseline lulls you into a state of euphoria.
Speaking of the track, the musician shares: "Jeff and I met on Zoom during lockdown in 2020 and it was my first ever Zoom session so I had no idea what to expect. Jeff and I instantly clicked and it all came together super fast. 'My Ways' is all about losing track of days, getting caught up in your monkey brain and wanting out of it. This song definitely encapsulates my lockdown."
The musician is set to embark on her debut tour, hiting the road this March and April on her Dribble Tour. Kicking off the string of shows in Brisbane before stops in Sydney and Melbourne, the tour sold out within 24 hours with additional dates announced. The performances mark SYCCO's debut headline performances, off the back of a a standout year for the 19 year old. Check out all the tour dates below.
