Australia is being treated to a brand new festival, with Summer Camp set to hit Aussie shores next February! The event marks the nations first touring pride festival, creating a space that celebrates freedom and diversity full of wonderful local and international artists.

Kicking off in Darwin on February 26, the festival will continue on to Sydney the following day, before wrapping up in Melbourne on March 6. Summer Camp Festival aims to enhance the creative landscape, offering an immersive experience for all that will serve as a playground of music and art culture.

Leading the stacked line up is London’s Years & Years, the musical project of actor and singer Olly Alexander. Joining them will be New Orleans’ hip hop and electronic artist Big Freedia, local icons The Veronicas, Cub Sport, New Zealand's Ladyhawke and Jess B, Confidence Man, Kinder, Sycco, The Merindas, Halfqueen (DJ Set), Jawbreakers, Yo Mafia and over 150 DJ’s, drag queens, dancers and performance artists in each city.

On creating a space for every walk of life, co-founders Kat Dopper shares: “Summer Camp Festival is a new inclusive festival experience that accepts all the cuties. It’s a chance to frolic in the forest with pals, dress up, and celebrate the true meaning of pride, Love has no labels at Summer Camp - it’s a place to call ‘homo’ this pride season. Let’s get sweaty this summer and feel the euphoria of being together and dancing again”
