It is around this time every year that music lovers flock to Byron Bay to experience one of Australias biggest festivals, Splendour In The Grass. That is not the case this year due to the COVID-19 pandemic, with the event being rescheduled to July 23-15, 2021.
However, the Splendour team have got you covered, announcing their 2021 headliners! Tyler, The Creator and The Strokes who were previously set to headline this years event, have signed on to headline the festivals 20th anniversary festival.
Unfortunately, Flume isn’t available for July 2021. But organisers haven’t let fans down with a replacement act! Legendary British band, the Gorillaz, will be heading to Byron and joining in on the 20th Anniversary celebrations. The band will headline the festivals first day with The Strokes headlining Saturday and Tyler, The Creator taking to the stage on Sunday. The Gorillaz last toured Australia in 2010.
All 2020 tickets will be valid for the Splendour 2021 edition. Moshtix has been in touch with all account holders directly and those who are not able to attend the new dates can apply for a refund.
