British grime MC, rapper, songwriter and record producer Skepta has made his grand return with his thrilling new EP, ALL IN, marking the rappers first solo release since his acclaimed 2019 fifth studio album, Ignorance Is Bliss.
Speaking of the release, the musician shares: “this music isn’t for people to download and discuss. It’s music to feel when I perform it live, music for people to celebrate with their friends”
Written prior to the lockdown caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, Skepta has been holding on to the collection, which were produced by the rapper himself, alongside JAE5, Ragz Originale, and Josh Faulkner. Across five tracks, the musician teams up with J Balvin, Teezee and Kid Cudi, sonically bending genres and including influences of Latin American, a Delphonics sample and continuing his boundary pushing exploration of grime.
The EP arrives alongside an official visual for Skepta's collaboration with Balvin, Nirvana, directed by KLVDR. The lavish clip is inspired by films including Narcos, The Godfather, and Get Out, and stars both musicians.
