Later this month, Shake It Up will return to Sydney, raising awareness and funds for Parkinson’s research whilst also showcasing emerging Aussie talent! This time around, the initiative will also be raising funds for Support Act, offering support to those within the industry who were affected tremendously by the COVID-19 pandemic.
Parkinson's disease affects over 100,000 Australians, with 38 people across the country diagnosed every day. Shake It Up aims to find better treatments that will prevent, slow and stop the progression of Parkinson’s, ultimately lead to a cure.
Iain T. McKelvey & The Midnight Tangos, The Van Demons, River Dreams, Aislinn Young, EJ Worland, Green Buzzard, Caitlin Harnett & The Pony Boys and Georgia June will all be taking to the stage at Marrickville's Factory Theatre, performing to raise awareness for Shake It Up's endeavours.
