Sydney songwriter and producer SA.MAY is back with the latest taste of her upcoming body of work!
Something was written and recorded at the musicians home studio in Sydney’s Northern Beaches, with Brooklyn-based producer Tiger Darrow mixing and recording additional instrumentation before Andrew Edgson (Matt Corby, Amy Shark) completed mastering at Studios 301. The track melds ethereal pop with woozy production, with SA.MAY’s vocals hypnotising throughout, bringing together emotion and heart with production flair.
“Something is about the start of a new relationship beginning to bloom, drawing on my own personal experiences. It’s the start of a new era in my life, which is why I think it’s perfect to release in the New Year.” The musician shares of the track.
