Directed, shot and edited by Rachael Vowles, the vibrant visual came to be after the recent Melbourne lockdown foiled plans for the original concept. Instead, LASHES and Vowles re-routed their energy into creating an intimate and vulnerable clip,
Speaking of the visual, the singer shares with MILKY: "I worked on the Heavenly video with content creator Rachael Vowels. She’s incredible at what she does and captured the essence of 'Heavenly' so perfectly. We originally had a huge music video planned for this one but the snap lockdown put an end to our plans. Everywhere we had planned to shoot was closed so we had to take matters into our own hands."
"Rach and I spent the whole day creating and building our own set (a cloud room) and bonding over shared experiences. Rach was so passionate about this project from the get go and that gave me the confidence to sit comfortably in my vulnerability, creating an intimacy to this video that I hadn’t yet explored. There wasn’t a huge team on this one, just Rach and I filming until the early hours of the morning, but I think that's part of what made this video so special."
