Directed by Reece O'Connell, the neon-lit visual is made complete with a dreamy aesthetic, depicting the band performing the track and capturing the nostalgic sonics of the song. Conceptually, Fantasma explores themes of love and loss, influenced by the likes of Crowded House and INXS.
Speaking of the clip, the band share with MILKY: "Well it's first and foremost a performance video with an 80's aesthetic. From the soft focus to the glam-rock make up of the lead. I wanted something new to emerge from the feeling of the song, the idea of a void coloured by the notes and mood of the music. I steered away from a literal narrative, due to the scope of the lyrical content and subtleties. Due to limiting what we wanted from the video, it gave everyone a focus to do what we were doing the right way, and to do it well. I think we were successful with the results."
