Beloved psychedelic rock band Pond have dropped their new single, (I’m) Stung, alongside the announcement of their tenth studio album, Stung!, and national tour. We caught up with the five-piece to chat about the new track.

Having returned earlier this year with Neon River, the bands forthcoming body of work is set to arrive complete with fourteen new tracks - including their latest offering, (I’m) Stung. "It's about being totally pathetically stung by someone and just having to be cool with it being unrequited. Being resilient, accepting that you are a bit of a goose, but life goes on,” frontman Nicholas Allbrook shares. Alongside the track, the band have shared a bewitching visual, filmed by the band and Chris Adams on Super 8 film in the sand dunes of Lancelin, Western Australia.

Following the albums release, the band will hit the road on a national tour, commencing with a performance as part of VIVID Sydney's programming at Carriageworks on June 14. The run of shows will continue on to Hobart, Adelaide, Melbourne and Brisbane, before wrapping up in Fremantle at Freo Social on July 6. Tickets are on sale now!

Stung! is out June 21! Listen to (I'm) Stung below.
