Iconic Nashville-based trio Paramore have shared another taste of their sixth studio album, This Is Why, with the release of their new single, C’est Comme Ça.
Leaning into post-punk influences, the biting release finds the trio exploring the uncertainty of the future with thought provoking lyricism brought to life by front woman Hayley Williams' spoken word performance throughout the tracks verses.
“I’m trying to get un-addicted to a survival narrative. The idea of imminent doom is less catastrophic to me than not knowing anything about the future or my part in it. The guys and I are all in much more stable places in our lives than ever before. And somehow that is harder for me to adjust to.” Williams shares.
Having kicked off their North American tour late last year, Paramore will continue the run of shows next month before joining global superstar Taylor Swift on the opening nights of her Eras Tour on March 17th and 18th. Whilst no international tour dates have been announced, the trio are no strangers to Australian stages, having visited our shores for a number of tours, most recently in 2018 on their After Laughter tour.
This is Why is out February 10th. Listen to C’est Comme Ça below.
