PALACE ARE HEADING DOWN UNDER!

Watch our interview with Palace below!

British rockers Palace have today announced their first ever Australian tour, in support of their superb third studio album, Shoals. We caught up with the trio ahead of the release to chat about the record, the impact making the record has left on them going forward, touring and so much more!

Kicking off at Melbourne's The Croxton on December 3, the run of shows will continue on to The Tivoli in Brisbane on December 6, before wrapping up in Sydney on December 8 at Roundhouse. Tickets on sale Friday, July 15 at 9am AEST, with an exclusive Live Nation presale taking place tomorrow.

The album explores a variety of concepts, with a central thread that revolves around fear and anxiety that subtly reveals itself. Offering up a more intimate view on the emotion, Shoals presents fear in a relatable light that captures what it is to be human. Laced with introspective and poetic lyricism that provoke thought and self-reflection, whilst also embracing sides of yourself that you’ve previously shunned. The collection of songs was born throughout the COVID-19 pandemic, with the band moving into a new studio space after years of sharing spaces with other artists. This new environment brought a new-found sense of freedom for the trio, where they took braver and bolder leaps as musicians, experimenting with their sonic palette.

Made up of Leo Wyndham, Matt Hodges and Rupert Turner, the trio burst onto the scene in 2014 with their debut EP, Lost in the Night. Since then, the trio have released a whopping seven EPs, as well as two full length records with 2016’s So Long Forever and 2019’s Life After. No stranger to the live Arena, Palace have performed sold-out across the globe, with sets at some of the world’s biggest festivals including Mad Cool, Latitude and Glastonbury’s Park Stage.

Shoals is out now!
