Melbourne's One More Weekend have unveiled the visual for their latest track, Talk. Following the conceptual nature of the track, the monochromatic music video tells the tale of a couple who return to their toxic relationship, time and time again.
Speaking of the visual, the band share: "We chose to avoid any colour in this music video. The black and white footage was used to indicate both ends of the emotional spectrum and I wanted it to illustrate the hot and cold relationship between the couple."
Talk serves as the first taste of music since the bands 2019 debut album We Used to..., bringing a sense of growth and maturity to the track. Made complete with memorable guitar riffs and anthemic gang vocals, frontman Connor Dougan's punk influenced vocals take centre stage, transporting listeners back to the pop-punk glory days of the early 2000's, whilst also retaining modern sensibilities.
One More Weekend are set to return to the stage later this month, launching the single with a sold-out performance at Melbourne's The Tote.
Talk is out now! Watch the music video below.
