ONE MORE WEEKEND RELEASE NEW SINGLE 'TALK'

Melbourne's One More Weekend are back with their infectious new single, Talk. Bringing all that pop-punk nostalgic goodness, the track navigates our lust for going back to situations that are detrimental to our lives.

Talk serves as the first taste of music since the bands 2019 debut album We Used to..., bringing a sense of growth and maturity to the track. Made complete with memorable guitar riffs and anthemic gang vocals, frontman Connor Dougan's punk influenced vocals take centre stage, transporting listeners back to the pop-punk glory days of the early 2000's, whilst also retaining modern sensibilities.

Speaking of the track, Dougan shares: "The song is about not going back to situations that ultimately are bad for you. I wrote this due to experiencing a relationship that was constantly up and down and finally having the realisation, that for both of us, it needed to end. It took a lot of strength to walk away from it because whilst you know it’s bad, you're still drawn to the person."

One More Weekend are set to return to the stage later this month, launching the single with a sold-out performance at Melbourne's The Tote.

Talk is out now! Listen to the track below.
