Offshore Projects has made his grand return with his new single, The Way I Fear.
The song navigates the tension of defining a new relationship, brought to life with heartfelt lyricism. The track creates a moment of intimacy between the musician and the listener, soundtracked by mesmerising guitars as the vivid lyricism creates stories within our own minds.
"The Way I Fear recalls a moment in a new relationship when you don’t know if it’s real or not, and the other person isn’t confirming or denying. Tension between "the way i fear" and "the way i feel" builds evoking a sense of anticipation and anxiousness.” the musician shares of the track.
The musical project of Jonas Nicholls, the musician put his energy into his former band SURES prior to the creation of Offshore Projects. They toured Australia for years supporting a bunch artists such as Best Coast, Real Estate, Wavves, Vampire Weekend, The Rubens, Rufus Du Sol, Dune Rats, Alpine, Matt Corby as well as playing Laneway Festival in 2012 and Secret Garden Festival in 2013.
