NYC-based indie-outfit Noshows have dropped their new single, So Mysterious. The release arrives alongside an animated visual, created by Gabriela Sibilska.

Continuing their signature genre-bending sonics, the captivating track effortlessly weaves together threads of hip-hop and Latin-pop, simmering beneath frontman Max Satow's performance, bringing hip-hip infused melodies to life. The groove-laded release explores the feelings that arise during a chance meeting, and falling in love with the idea of what the future could hold should a dalliance unfurl into something more.

“So Mysterious” is about randomly running into someone who feels like the one that got away after just one conversation, mostly because of their mysterious vibes. This idea of the unknown may be what’s alluring you but you’re blinded by your infatuation with this person and end up filling in the blanks, because you’ll likely never see them again. That’s sort of the experience I was trying to communicate with this song, somewhat foolishly falling in love with just the idea of somebody.

The musical project of Satow, Noshows began as the solo endeavour of the musician, before bringing on permanent band members earlier this year. Having performed at mainstay NYC venues Bowery Electric, Arlene’s Grocery and Baby’s All Right, the band took to the stage at Pleasantville Music Festival last month following their win at the Lagond Music Battle of the Bands.
