GRAMMY® nominated, multi-platinum selling artist, Noah Cyrus has enlisted multi-platinum Australian singer-songwriter, Vance Joy on her new single Everybody Needs Someone.
Set atop lulling guitar melodies, the song is a plea to be accepted and loved for who we are, fuelled by introspective and intimate lyricism. Cyrus and Joy's compelling vocals are perfectly wrapped around each other, luring the listener in with their emotive and distinct tones. The track follows up the release of Cyrus' highly anticipated debut album, The Hardest Part, late last year.
Speaking of the collaboration, Cyrus shares: "vance [sic], thank you for joining me on this record. it has been a dream of mine to work with you , as i've been a fan of yours since i was a young girl and playing your songs in coffee shops. at 15, i got signed from a video of me singing Riptide that was circulating online and i guess it ended up in the right hands because if it wasn't for that, none of the work i've done or music i made would've been released or maybe even created.. your music has inspired me all this time, and to have you on this record is such an honor and is a dream of a lifetime come true."
Cyrus will return to our shores this July, supporting GRAMMY®-nominated singer-songwriter Lewis Capaldi on his national tour. Kicking off at Sydney's Qudos Bank Arena on July 7, the tour will continue on to Perth, Adelaide and Melbourne, before crossing the Tasman for performances in Auckland and Wellington. The shows mark Capaldi's first arena tour of Australia, and will serve as the final leg of his world tour.
