Inner West hip-hop group Triple One have released their debut album, Panic Force. Full of heartfelt moments and bright and fun tracks, the record infuses pop, rock and punk into one stellar soundscape. Having already released three EP’s, the group have created a record that has something for everyone. The honest and emotional tracks tackle themes of depression, drug abuse and relationships. Across 12 new tracks, Triple One shine on their debut.

Pop superstar Ariana Grande has dropped her highly-anticipated sixth studio album, positions. The light hearted and playful record conceptually weaves strength and self-assuredness throughout its fourteen tracks. Coming after the release of her acclaimed album, thank u, next, Grande brings a sense of healing to the new tracks. Where thank u, next was more contemplative, positions is about living in the moment, shifting focus to pleasure and love. With retro-funk vibes set to an R&B soundscape, the record comes with a number of collaborations, including The Weeknd, Doja Cat and Ty Dolla $ign.
MIDNIGHT OIL
Seventeen years since the release of their eleventh studio album, Aussie rock band Midnight Oil have retuned with The Makarrata Project. Sitting at only seven tracks long, the title comes from the Yolngu word for the process of conflict resolution, makarrata. The release continues the bands career long initiative of swinging a spotlight on First Nations issues. The release features a number of First Nations guests, including industry superstars Jessica Mauboy, Dan Sultan, Troy Cassar-Daley, Kev Carmody and Frank Yamma, whilst also including newcomers such as Alice Skye.
PARIS JACKSON
Paris Jackson has released her debut solo single, Let Down. Having already released an EP with her former band, The Soundflowers, the daughter of pop legend Michael Jackson is stepping out on her own. The ethereal acoustic driven track exists within an alternative folk soundscape, and perfectly showcases Jackson’s pure and beautiful vocals. The track navigates heartbreak and being let down repeatedly by your partner. Let Down is the lead single from Jackson’s debut album, set to be released later this month. The release is accompanied by a stunning, victorian inspired music video.
SHAG ROCK
Brisbane's loveable Indie pop-rock band, Shag Rock, return with new single 'Flicker', an upbeat track fused with feels and introspective musings of a modern-day infatuation. 'Flicker' looks at how one moment can change it all. "With everything in this world scaring us it only takes a flicker of someone’s eyes and suddenly you’re thinking of a future together," explains guitarist and vocalist, Jacob Reed.
