Brisbane trio Nervous Light have released their emotive new track Coffee Stains And Picture Frames. The release arrives alongside an official visual, directed by Andrew Vaughan.
The confessional release continues the trios emo-punk infused sonics, offering a softer side to the band, laced with intimate and vulnerable lyricism that navigates a newfound sense of loneliness following a break up. Frontman Jordan Olive gives a compelling vocal performance, capturing the pop-punk sensibilities of the early 2000's, throughout the mid-tempo track.
“In the wake of leaving a long term relationship and watching the rest of the world, including the other person, move on without you. You are left to pick up the pieces and find comfort in yourself and a way to rebuild what you thought you already had.” frontman Jordan Olive shares.
Earlier this year, the trio shared their debut EP, Bury What’s Left Of My Heart In Your Backyard, featuring the singles Haunt, Outsider and Patterns.
