Perth indie soul quartet Nectar have delivered their debut EP, Love In Limbo. To celebrate the release, the band are taking MILKY through the release track by track!
“The process is natural it comes from the heart, not in a cardio-vascular sense but a loving and passionate way, often times it will be a result of jamming out ideas that flow out of our fingertips, which is then structured under scrutiny of the honest and open minded brotherhood that is Nectar. Judah then goes home and writes lyrics to put the ‘icing on the cake’ ; he is quite the chef in the kitchen and the studio.” the band share of their collaborative process.
The four-piece are set to return to the stage next Friday, taking over the Indian Ocean Hotel in Scarborough, Perth for an exclusive EP launch show. Supported by Hey Hannah, King Blue, Jamie Terry DJ (POND) tickets are on sale now!

A sentimental track about a refreshing new light that shines with “a new friend”. It also touches base on past experiences and juxtaposes with our earlier song Find a New Friend.
PIPE DREAMS
Our optimistic approach to the fact that although things may never be able to be perfect, there are plenty of things to find joy in. NEVER stop trying to be your best self.
WAY TO SOON
A song about putting the brakes on growing up and realising that it can sometimes be healthier to take things at your natural pace. An alarm clock at 6:00am in the morning for work, hence the “please gimme 5 minutes” line, is used as a metaphor for giving us time to grow.
