Iconic American rock band, My Chemical Romance have added more shows to their highly anticipated 2023 Australian tour. The band will be gracing Aussie stages in March 2023, after their planned performances last year were cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Next year marks the twenty year anniversary of their debut album, I Brought You My Bullets, You Brought Me Your Love.
Performing in Brisbane, Melbourne and Sydney, the bands 2022 Australian reunion tour marks their first performances on Aussie soil since their appearance at Big Day Out festival in 2012. The string of shows comes after the band announced they would reunite in 2019 for a one-off show in Los Angeles, which sold out in under four-minutes. Soon after, the four-piece announced worldwide touring plans which were dashed in early 2020.
Selling out stadiums across the globe, the bands 2022 is a welcome reunion for fans, especially those faithful followers from when the four-piece stepped onto the scene nineteen years ago. Throughout their career, My Chemical Romance have released four studio albums, the independently released album I Brought You My Bullets, You Brought Me Your Love, 3x Platinum Three Cheers for Sweet Revenge, 3x Platinum The Black Parade, and their 2008 record, Danger Days: The True Lives of the Fabulous Killjoys.
