Sydney based singer-songwriter Moody Beach has offered fans a glimpse into her forthcoming EP, with the release of Plastic Love. The third single from Assembly of the Wild, the track was produced by Kim Moyes of The Presets, conceptually exploring the many facets of love, with a focus on monogamy, singledom and open relationships.

Speaking of the clip, the singer shares: “When writing Plastic Love I was thinking about all the different kinds of romantic love I’ve experienced. I’m serially monogamous and have felt trapped in convenient relationships before. On the flipside, for a short time, I pursued open relationships and revelled in feeling detached from lovers. Both felt insincere and artificial to me, like plastic”.

The release arrives alongside an official visual, which showcases the excitement of a Moody Beach live show. Filmed by Throat Pasta, the clip was shot at Glider Festival in Marrickville, an event that raises funds and awareness for mental health with proceeds going to Beyond Blue.

Assembly of the Wild is out October 9. Watch the visual for Plastic Love below!
