Anangu/Torres Strait Islander singer-songwriter Miiesha has revealed she's embarking on her debut national tour! The run of shows will be in support of the forthcoming EP, Mirrors, due out this June and serves as a companion piece to the singers 2021 EP, Smoke.

Kicking off in Sydney with a performance at the Sydney Opera House as part of VIVID's 2022 program, the tour will continue on to Brisbane and Melbourne, with the singer also set to appear at Yours and Owls Festival, Parramatta Nights, Out of the Woods and Splendour in the Grass over the coming months.

Across the companion releases, Miiesha is set to offer up two perspectives of "broken family dynamics, searching for love and healing." Speaking of the the EP project, the singer shared: “This project really, really, means a lot to me, and has been full of my pain and my healing! And it's amazing being able to connect with other peoples stories and being able to help them through their journey!”

Last year, Miiesha took home Song of the Year at the National Indigenous Music Awards, following five ARIA nominations in 2020, where she won Best Soul/RnB Release for her debut record, Nyaaringu. The singer has just been nominated for two Queensland Music Awards, Regional/Remote Award for Damaged, and Soul/Funk/RNB for Made for Silence, which also placed her as a Top 40 finalist in the 2021 Vanda & Young songwriting competition.

Mirrors is out June 3. Listen to Still Dream below.
