Anangu/Torres Strait Islander singer-songwriter Miiesha has treated fans with the announcement of two new EP's and a brand new track. With the first EP, Smoke, set to arrive in November, the ARIA Award winner has offered up another taste of the project with Price I Paid.
As she dissects and heals from her own trauma, the singers latest offering is an intimate moment that serves as the basis for the exploration of her forthcoming EPs. Across the companion releases, Miiesha is set to offer up two perspectives of "broken family dynamics, searching for love and healing."
Speaking of the impending releases, the singer shared on her Instagram, “This project really, really, means a lot to me, and has been full of my pain and my healing!
“And its amazing being able to connect with other peoples stories and being able to help them through their journey!”
Last year, Miiesha scored five ARIA nominations, taking home the 2020 ARIA for Best Soul/RnB Release for her debut record, Nyaaringu, also winning winning four QLD Music Awards, and a National Indigenous Music Award.
Smoke is out 19 November.
