Berlin based Alt-indie outfit, Mighty Oaks are back! The three piece have dropped their new single, Devil and the Deep Blue Sea, taken from their forthcoming record.
The introspective track conceptually explores themes of respect and understanding within a relationship of any nature, standing by each other even when faced with personal struggle. Fusing together threads of folk and soul, Devil and the Deep Blue Sea is a glistening moment from the band.
Speaking of the track, the band share: "Our Song Devil and the Deep Blue Sea is a song ultimately about mutual patience and understanding and respect. I think often times in life you find yourself in a hard place where no matter what you do you can’t necessarily do the right thing. And it takes a while to figure out which path to go down. The song is about those who love you and those you love in live - that they have patience and that they wait for you to figure things out just as much as you wait for them in times of struggle.“
