Spellbinding dream-pop dup, Micra, have just dropped their new single Under My Skin. Looping synths and stellar production with dark lyrics and dreamy melodies, the track is an exploration of finding comfort in being uncomfortable.

“It’s the realisation that everything that you feel happens under the skin (and) the fixation of time passing, which I tend to focus on a little too much” explains the band’s singer Ivana Kafedjiyska. “All these discomforts and thoughts are intimate sensations under the skin. Sometimes you have to sit in a feeling and let go only by letting it in.”

The release is accompanied by an enchanting music video. Directed by Jessica Long, the clip sees the duo surrounded by dessert, with the psychedelic undertones of the track surfacing and creating optical illusions created by the atmospheric conditions

Recently supporting Lime Cordiale on the their recent national tour, the band will play two shows in NSW this October. The performances will take place in Sydney and Wollongong.
