Rising star MERGUI has released his first song in English with his breakup anthem, Sucks To Know You (FU), serving as the first taste of his forthcoming EP, The Dark Side of The Rainbow. Earlier this year, the musician signed with Saban Music Group.
The emotive release brings together driving production and a jangling riff, beneath MERGUI's captivating and raw vocal performance. The track explores the turbulence of a breakup, and the emotions that linger in its aftermath. Arriving alongside an official visual, we follow the musician cruising through a field of flowers in a vintage red sedan, capturing the songs tumultuous nature.
“Ever since I was a little kid, I dreamed of doing music in English. This is something I’ve worked towards my whole life, and Haim Saban and the team at Saban Music Group made it a reality, I felt like they immediately understood my vision, and we have a chance to make history together now. It begins now with Sucks To Know You (FU).” MERGUI shares of the release.
